One Niche shop vs multiple niches shop on POD

One of many important questions that people often ask when they first start their pod business (print on demand ) is: Should I go for one niche store or multiple niches store?

Well, to answer this. You should know the differences between both of them.

One niche store:

Is when your designs are specific and targeting a group of people. For example food designs or coffee designs. You are targeting people who are food or coffee addicted, So You will have a very targeted audience, repeated buyers, but very limited cuz you’re applying to one specific group of people.

Multiple niches store:

Is when your designs are general for all kinds of people. For example, you might have food, coffee, or even sky diving designs in your shop, However, your shop is being categorized into different sections (collections ), besides multiple niches=more choices = All kinds of people =more potential sales. Plus the ability to try new niches everyday.

That’s why I prefer multiple niches store.

Can I do both on redbubble and other platforms?

Yes, you can do both on redbubble and any other platforms that offer you a shop like Etsy, Spreadshirt, society 6,teepublic, and teespring.

Merch by Amazon doesn’t support one niche shops cuz obviously, you don’t have a shop. you’re only selling on their marketplace.

In conclusion :

My advice for you is to put all your efforts into one shop whether it’s one niche or multiple niches. Once you started getting consistent sales you can open the other.
